Here at Swimming with Natalie, myself and the team teach children using the STA approved and recognised learn to swim pathway. Complete with badges and certificates to celebrate your child's swimming journey, each and every milestone is recognised and rewarded.
With an emphasis on safety, we ensure children gain water confidence before moving onto further skills. Once children master the core foundations - floatation, rotation, breathing and propulsion, we begin to incorporate stroke work and distance, with lots of fun in between!
With an understanding that not all children love water, it is my aim to share the passion myself and the team have for swimming and find ways to make it enjoyable for your child. We strongly encourage and enable children to meet the Swim England standards to keep them safe in and around all waters.
Each and every child are unique and different and this at the core of my teaching foundations. Lessons are effective and progressive, whilst also nurturing each individual child.
Taking children from 3 years and 9 months, up untill the age of 16, it's never to late to learn!
There is an advanced group at 5pm where we build on skills, distance and stamina, covering aspects such as competitive starts, turns and finishes, aswell as diving. This group is suitable for those children considering joining a competitive swim club.
Myself and the team are experienced in teaching children with additional needs and have some 1:1 sessions kept aside. The pool is quiet and this time is reserved specifically for those that need that extra attention and support in the water.
Group lessons take place at Leweston school pool, near Sherborne, from 4pm - 6pm each Friday during term time.
1:1 and 2:1 lessons take place on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays at our private pool near Okeford Fitzpaine, Sturminster Newton.
